Pizza with Norwegian Prawns

Pizza is a popular dish, but why not try a new topping next time? This variation with Norwegian prawns can be recommended.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.

  • Stir the yeast into lukewarm water, add oil, salt and most of the flour.

  • Work the dough until firm, and set to rise for approx. 20 minutes.

  • Roll the dough out on a baking tray with baking paper and let it rise for approx. 10 minutes.

  • Bake the pizza base in the oven for approx. 10 minutes, take it out and set the oven to 220 °C.

Pizza sauce

  • Finely chop onion and fennel.

  • Sauté onion in oil until shiny and add tomato purée.

  • Add fennel and canned tomatoes, and let the sauce simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes.

  • Finely chop chives and basil and add to the sauce when it is done.

  • Taste the sauce with a little salt, pepper and sugar.

  • Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza base and cover with cheese.

  • Sprinkle with oregano and bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes, until the cheese has a nice colour.

  • Take out the pizza, sprinkle with the prawns and bake in the oven for 1 minute more so the prawns get warm.

Serve the pizza fresh out of the oven.
