Preparation
- Cut the cod in cubes.
- Dice spring onion, carrot, swede and potato.
- Add water and vegetables to a casserole, bring to a boil and cook for approx. 10 minutes.
- Mix wheat flour and water, add to the vegetables and bring to the boil.
- Taste with salt and pepper.
- Add the fish and let simmer until cooked through.
- Gently add crème fraîche to the stew.
- Serve with flat bread on the side.
Tip: Cod fillet can be replaced with other white fish such as saithe or haddock.
